Easy to assemble mobile racks for AGVs
Stop scrapping your racks every time a car model changes. In the high-pressure environment of automotive assembly, static welded structures are a liability. When Takt time is measured in seconds, you need a Line-side Supply Racking system that adapts as fast as your production schedule. Our fully bolted, modular logic replaces obsolete welding with precision engineering—giving you the rigidity of Q355 steel with the flexibility of a construction set.
The Engineering Logic: Why “Bolted” Beats “Welded” in Automotive Logistics
In traditional automotive stamping or powertrain plants, the standard used to be welded pallet racks. They were sturdy, but they were permanent. Today, with the shift towards Mixed-Model Assembly Lines (MMAL) where EV battery packs and ICE chassis share the same floor, “permanent” is a dirty word.
Our Fully Bolted Structure is designed specifically for this volatility. Unlike Hook-and-Slot systems that can detach when an Underride AGV applies upward lifting force, our racks utilize high-tensile bolts with serrated lock nuts. This creates a rigid frame that withstands the dynamic G-forces of robotic transport without the risk of structural fatigue common in welded joints.

SPS and Line-Side Efficiency
Para Set Parts Supply (SPS) operations, the ability to reconfigure shelf heights and flow angles is critical. If a new door panel is 2 inches taller than the previous model, a welded rack goes to the scrap yard. With our Rack de Fluxo Móvel para SPS, your maintenance team can adjust the levels using standard tools in minutes, not days. This modularity directly supports your Lean Logistics goals by reducing capital expenditure (CAPEX) on new carriers for every minor facelift.
Karakuri Integration: Zero-Energy Automation
The “Easy to assemble” philosophy extends beyond the frame to the automation itself. In many “Dark Factory” initiatives, there is a push to eliminate complex electronics where simple mechanics will suffice. We integrate Karakuri (mechanical shooter) mechanisms directly into the rack structure.
This allows for “Low Cost Automation” (LCA). When the AGV docks at the assembly station, a mechanical lever is triggered, releasing the Rack Automatizado de Caixas KLT stop-pin. Gravity takes over, sliding the box of fasteners or components directly into the operator’s reach or onto the conveyor. No motors, no batteries on the rack, and no complex wiring to assemble—just pure mechanical logic.

Safety and Compliance in Heavy Operations
Ease of assembly does not imply a compromise on safety. In fact, our bolted connections allow for stricter quality control than manual welding. Every joint is a calculated friction grip connection.
For applications involving Módulos de Bateria para EV or heavy Powertrain Components, load stability is non-negotiable. Our racks are engineered to meet ISO 3691-4 safety standards for driverless industrial trucks. We conduct rigorous Center of Gravity (CoG) analysis to ensure that even during an AGV’s emergency stop (E-stop) at 1.5 ft/s deceleration, the Heavy Duty Mobile Dolly remains stable. The use of Q355 High-tensile steel ensures that despite the bolted nature, the frame handles torsional stress far better than brittle welds.

Perguntas Frequentes (Logística Automotiva)
| Can these bolted racks handle the weight of EV Battery Packs? | Yes. We utilize Q355 High-tensile steel and specialized structural bracing. Our designs are regularly validated for loads exceeding 2,200 lbs (1000 kg) specifically for battery pack and chassis component transport. |
| Do bolts loosen over time due to AGV vibration? | No. We employ an “Install and Forget” philosophy using serrated flange nuts and thread-locking compounds where necessary. This Anti-loosening design is tested against high-frequency vibrations common on concrete factory floors. |
| Are your racks compatible with IATF 16949 standards? | Absolutely. Our manufacturing process ensures full traceability of materials, from the steel mill to the final assembly, supporting your compliance with strict automotive quality management systems. |
| Can we integrate these with our existing MES for JIT delivery? | Yes. Our racks can be equipped with RFID tags or QR code matte finishes for precise identification. This allows your MES and WMS to track the exact location of every Rack Automatizado de Caixas KLT in real-time. |
| How does the modular design help with model changeovers? | Unlike welded racks that must be scrapped, our bolted system allows you to disassemble, resize, and reassemble the racks to fit new component dimensions (e.g., larger door panels or different bumper shapes), saving up to 60% on new carrier costs. |
